How do I create a dynamic QR code that I can edit later?
Open the generator on the homepage or dashboard, select your type (URL, vCard, Wi-Fi, etc.), enter your content, and choose 'Dynamic QR'. You can change the target URL anytime from your dashboard without changing the printed image.
Will my printed QR codes stop working if I downgrade to the Free plan?
No! Under our Printed Code Continuity Guarantee, all dynamic QR codes you have already created and printed will continue to resolve to their target destinations. A downgrade only limits the creation of new codes and additional custom domains.
How long does it take for custom domain DNS verification to activate?
Once you add your CNAME and TXT records at your DNS provider (like Cloudflare or GoDaddy), verification typically completes in under 2 minutes. SSL certificates are issued automatically upon verification.
Can I track which city or device scanned my printed QR code?
Yes. Every scan records the city, country, device OS (iOS/Android), and timestamp. Analytics are aggregated asynchronously so your redirects remain lightning-fast (<150ms).
How do I import hundreds of book chapter QR codes at once?
Navigate to Dashboard → Books, select your book, and click 'Import CSV'. Upload a sheet with columns for Chapter Name, Slug, and Target URL. QRoute will generate all codes in seconds and provide a batch ZIP export.
Do I have to create a QR code separately for each restaurant table?
No. Adding a table in Dashboard → Tables & Seating issues its dynamic QR in the same step. The code is a normal dynamic QRoute code, so pausing, scan analytics, and custom domain routing all work on it from day one.
If I rename a table, do I have to reprint the standee?
No. Renaming a table, changing its seat count, or moving it to another dining area never reissues the QR slug. The printed standee keeps resolving. Retiring the table is the only action that stops it — and that is reversible.
Do table QR codes count against my plan's dynamic QR limit?
Yes. Each table issues one dynamic QR code, so it counts toward the same dynamic QR allowance as any other code in your workspace. If you hit the limit, adding a table is blocked until you upgrade or archive unused codes.
Can I connect my Shopify store to track packaging scans?
